This might be related to #169 Error when pressing escape key on a filtered/sorted list bound datagridview (DynamicBindingListBase).
I'm not sure about the exact replication procedures for this issue. Does it concern SortedBindingList only? Is there a FilteredBindingList involved?

The only detail I have on this issue is in the linked forum thread...

If we can't figure out a repro then we should just close this issue...

When I edit a SortedBindingList of a EditableRootBindingList on a DataGridView I found no issues when I press cancel and a new row. By "new" I mean a new row that is still being edited, before I move to another row. I contacted Reto - the user that reported the issue. If he doesn't reply, we should close the issue.
