It seems that compact heat sinks have problems with:
Negative component weight,
Wrong CHS critical slot naming > They show as Laser HS
Problem with HS number selection > as soon as you select them from drop down menu number of HS drops below minimal 10, so you are forced to input any higher number by keyboard.
This is replicable by simply creating Mixed Clan, Experimental Tech, QuadVee and selecting Compact Heat Sinks.
