Right after a fresh install of both Ubuntu and bumblebee, I got the error. Could not locate either /usr/local/bin/bumblebee-enablecard or its counterpart bumblebee-disablecard in /usr/local/bin.

Here are the contents of /usr/local/bin:

bumblebee-bugreport
bumblebee-uninstall
bumblebee-config
optirun64
optirun32

After copying the files to the correct location, it seems to work ok. Tested with OpenBVE which is not very demanding, but still runs very smoothly.
