PROJ-201, Measuring excitement in sports

In my project for the Undergraduate Project Course (PROJ-201), I came up with a quantitative measure of excitement for UFC fights.

I used two databases from kaggle.com and wrote several scripts to wrangle and prepare the database. Then I devised a potential equation to measure excitement and implemented it.

The databases I used:

• UFC Fight Data [1993 to 2023]
• UFC Fighters' Statistics Dataset
