Let's get Started

If you have not read the Guide for New Volunteers, please do so.

1. Read our Wiki to get an overview of the Product Management immersion experience here at Hack for LA and find out how to get started.
2. Join the Product Management Slack channel and introduce yourself.
3. Slack our Product Management Community of Practice lead Olivia with your Gmail address.
4. Accept your Google Drive invite to access the shared folder.
5. Add yourself to the Team Roster and inform Olivia after you have done so.
6. Make your first issue Product Manager Experience Profile to help us track what you learn at Hack for LA, to make sure that you are fully versed in all our effective product managment processess. (Don't worry if you can't figure out how to make the issue. We can help you at the next community of practice meeting.
7. Join our Product Management Community of Practice meeting every Tuesday at 6 pm PST and Friday at 10 am PST via Zoom.
