What’s new?

Planscape release 24.07.11 adds the Operational Layers for Wildland Urban Interface to Explore and Plan. These layers are used in the WUI Scenario for Planning, and now can be viewed during planning.

Features

This Planscape release has two primary features:

  • The Operational Layers for Wildland Urban Interface can now be viewed in Explore. For Southern California, the layer can be accessed by going to the Fire Adapted Communities pillar, selecting Hazard, and then selecting Wildland Urban Interface. For all other regions, the layer can be found at the bottom of the layers listing under the "Operational" pillar.
  • The Wildland Urban Interface layer can now also be accessed in Plan Scenario results.

System Requirements

Supported Browsers

Planscape is tested on most recent versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox.

Recommended Devices

Planscape is optimized for browser use on a desktop. It is not advised to use this tool on tablets or mobile devices.

Known Issues

Issue Workaround
Some boundaries may extend beyond the region. This is an expected behavior in this version. No workaround.
Selecting exclusion areas may limit the planning acreage and cause the scenario runs to fail. Do not select an exclusion area.
