I have just published Firemote version v3.4.6 which contains your app shortcut request for RetroArch. I don't know how this app works, but if it means that I could play retro games on my media devices, then thanks for letting me know that it exists!

It certainly does Doug! I'm playing all my old Console games on my Apple TV, they run beautifully.
