New Nose Presets

Padme4000 edited this page Nov 20, 2024 · 9 revisions

So with the use of my Character Creation Expanded I have added new Nose slots. You can use these to make your rooks noses into presets if you want to share them.

Now let's go over what is what in CC so you will know what to input in our Nose Preset file.

Open one of the three NoseShapePreset_Custom_01/02/03 found in the project file provided on the mod page, at Prototype/Paperdoll/FeatureWeightPresets/NoseShapePreset_Custom_01/02/03

You can also edit the existing vanilla presets as well if you want.

Quick Notes on Null, Positive and Negative Values in the CC

A note if your nose shape value is 0 in a section then you want it null in both sections.

If a positive value like 55% you would put 0.55 in the box listed as positive in this guide.

If a negative like -40% you would put 0.4 in the box listed as negative in this guide.

Once you open a nose preset you will be met with: 2024-11-20_23h16_57

You want to expand FeatureParams and then all the numbers, then follow this guide for what values. Make sure to have an in game image of your nose parameters to go off of.

Nose Shape

Dragon Age The Veilguard Screenshot 2024 11 20 - 20 23 45 86

Depth

  • Positive Values = NosePositionForward
  • Negatives values = NosePositionBack

Example in image would be 0.4 in NosePositionBack and 0 in NosePositionForward

Height

  • Positive Values = NosePositionDown
  • Negatives Values = NosePositionUp

Example in the image would be 0.3 in NosePositionDown and 0 in NosePositionUp

Size

  • Positive Values = NoseScaleUp
  • Negatives Values = NoseScaleDown

Example in the image would be 0.55 in NoseScaleUp and 0 in NoseScaleDown

This one seems to vary in how it changes so I can't give you an accurate number you'd have to adjust for sadly.

as 0.45 became 0.75 0.15 became 0.2

##Crookedness

  • Positive Values = NoseCrookedNoseL
  • Negatives Values = NoseCrookedNoseR

Example in image would be 0 in both.

Nose Bone

Dragon Age The Veilguard Screenshot 2024 11 20 - 20 23 51 16

Depth

  • Positive Values = NoseNasalBoneForward
  • Negatives Values = NoseNasalBoneBack

Example in image would be 0.2 in NoseNasalBoneForward and 0 in NoseNasalBoneBack

Height

  • Positive Values = NoseNasalBoneUp
  • Negatives Values = NoseNasalBoneDown

Example in the image would be 0.8 in NoseNasalBoneDown and 0 in NoseNasalBoneUp

Width

  • Positive Values = NoseNasalBoneWide
  • Negatives Values = NoseNasalBoneNarrow

Example in the image would be 0.5 in NoseNasalBoneNarrow and 0 in NoseNasalBoneWide

Nose Bridge

Vertical Position

  • Positive Values = NoseBridgeUp
  • Negatives Values = NoseBridgeDown

had to work this one out manually due to all presets being at 0

Example in the image would be 0 in both.

Horizontal Position

  • Positive Values = NoseBridgeRight
  • Negatives Values = NoseBridgeLeft

Example in the image would be 0.4 in NoseBridgeRight and 0 in NoseBridgeLeft

Width

  • Positive Values = NoseBridgeWide
  • Negatives Values = NoseBridgeNarrow

Example in image would be 0.2 in NoseBridgeWide and 0 in NoseBridgeNarrow

Depth

  • Positive Values = NoseBridgeForward
  • Negatives Values = NoseBridgeBack

Example in image would be 0 in both

Nose Tip

Depth

  • Positive Values = NoseTipForward
  • Negatives Values = NoseTipBack

Example in image would be 0.3 in NoseTipForward and 0 in NoseTipBack

Up/Down

  • Positive Values = NoseTipUp
  • Negatives Values = NoseTipDown

So this value actually increases in game most of the time by 10% so if your in game value is -40% you would make it 0.3 in NoseTipDown and 0 in NoseTipUp. I had one instance where it only went up 5% but much closer in value than the other value that doesn't stay the same.

Left/Right

This value is sadly 0 for all presets so not sure what is positive/negative

  • NoseTipRight
  • NoseTipLeft

Width

  • Positive Values = NoseTipWide
  • Negatives Values = NoseTipNarrow

Example in image would be 0.6 in NoseTipWide and 0 in NoseTipNarrow

Rotation

  • Positive Values = NoseEndRotateDown
  • Negatives Values = NoseEndRotateUp

Example in image would be 0.2 in NoseEndRotateUp and 0 in NoseEndRotateDown

Nostrils

Dragon Age The Veilguard Screenshot 2024 11 20 - 20 23 54 49

Size

  • Positive Values = NoseNostrilScaleUp
  • Negatives Values = NoseNostrilScaleDown

Example in image would be 0.5 in NoseNostrilScaleUp and 0 in NoseNostrilScaleDown

Width

  • Positive Values = NoseNostrilWide
  • Negatives Values = NoseNostrilNarrow

Example in image would be 0.5 in NoseNostrilWide and 0 in NoseNostrilNarrow

Depth

  • Positive Values = NoseNostrilForward
  • Negatives Values = NoseNostrilBackward

Example in image would be 0.5 in NoseNostrilForward and 0 in NoseNostrilBackward
