This fix solved my problem, with latest trunk, vtk 6.1 on Ubuntu 14.04. If it doesn't hurt, I would keep it |

This (presumably) fixes #954. The fix was proposed in this thread.
I do not encounter the problem with my setup, adding this line does not change anything for me.
