Description:
This worker will fetch current pokemon spawns from /raw_data of an PokemonGo-Map instance. It will also update the location of PokemonGo-Map when the bot is moving away.
There are two modes available:

distance: will move to the nearest pokemon
priority: will move to the pokemon with the highest priority assigned (tie breaking by distance)

other configs:
address
address of the webserver of PokemonGo-Map
prioritize vips
will prioritize vips in distance and priority mode above normal pokemon
min_time:
minimum time the pokemon has to be available before despawn
max_distance:
maximum distance the pokemon is allowed to be when walking, ignored when sniping
snipe
if enabled will teleport to target pokemon, encounter it, teleport back then catch it
if disabled will walk
update_map
disable/enable if the map location should be automatically updated
catch
a dictionary of pokemon to catch with an assigned priority (higher => better)
vip pokemon are automatically catched without an entry here

Is there other way to grab the map data instead of run another instance?

Only other way would be to integrate the whole scanning procedure into this bot.
By using the PokemonGo-Map data we have a good seperation of concerns imho.

This will make our bot too huge. Can we just pull data from internet?

well i don't know any service that is reliable, stable and allows to bang their API^^
if you know one i could use that one as a source

@mhdasding We can start a 'uber-like' service, open to public. Use a public MQTT server to exchange the data. Option need to be set as False by default. If you want to have others' info, you also exchange yours. Anonymous info, no account info can be leak.

@nikhil-pandey I added the option to teleport to the pokemon, catch it and teleport back, but i got instantly soft banned. is there a trick to not get softbanned?

@mhdasding You have to teleport back before catching the pokemon. Take a look at #1887

I believe the trick to sniping is to start the fight then teleport back before throwing pokeballs.

@nikhil-pandey @knobunc thanks for the info, i implemented proper sniping now, works on my side, could you test?

@douglascamata I think this is good. Just need a guide line in wiki and have the link in readme.
Also there're many version of this map, we need the guide line specific a wanted one.

@brantje, i suppose @pickett2k means that when you open PokemonGo-Map in browser you can click on particular pokemon and chose option to hide it from view

I understand that, but at the moment that is not possible.
To make sure Pidgey's / Ratata's are not sniped, remove them from the config.

How do I set this up to snipe pokemon? I have no idea where to put the pokemon name or location. and I keep getting this error

The CLI parameter parser now uses JSON-loaded parameters as first

This is the perfect handling for making CLI args override JSON

I don't think it's possible until a new map is released, as ahaaaaaa took
his map down.

  1. Host some version of ahaaaaa's map at localhost:5000
  2. Use the example map configuration in the bot, and it should get information from the map automatically

It worked for me before the recent api change, haven't tested it since as I
haven't tested any forks of the map

@akocmark yes it works, updated version you can check here https://github.com/PokemonGoMap/PokemonGo-Map. It even pushes into Map Bot's current coordinate and Map loads pokemons from new location automatically.

Is it normal that after a pokemon is catched using the default priority mode it briefly starts moving to a pokestop but then starts moving to a new pokemon on the map?

There is something odd going on with the snipe logic.

In the config:

Actually, It still spins the fort in it way. But I did a PR #3155. So if your total number of balls is too low, the bot will focus on spinning the fort rather than catching a pokemon.
