** THIS DOCUMENTATION IS IN PROGRESS AND IS REFERRING TO A FUTURE VERSION OF POLYGLOT TO BE RELEASED SOON **

Dataset

This dropdown enables you to switch between different datasets available in Polyglot. If you are interested in having your data analyzed and published in Polyglot, feel free to reach out to our lead Oskar Elek.

Color Mode

This dropdown allows you to change the metric used to color the point cloud. Currently, we have 3 metrics to choose from:

  1. MCPM Connect: this colors each point according to its MCPM similarity to the current anchor point.
  2. Part of Speech: this colors each point according to the "part of speech" it belongs to (e.g., nouns, verbs, propositions, etc.)
  3. High dimension: this colors each point according to its Euclidean similarity to the current anchor point in the ORIGINAL space.

View Subclass

This dropdown allows you to choose a subclass of the dataset to focus on. For example, if you set this dropdown to CLASS_1, all points not belonging to CLASS_1 will become transparent. However, all points will still be able to be picked up by your cursor.

Color Gradient

This slider will let you adjust the cut-off used for similarity colouring (a higher cut-off will show smaller "hot spots" of similar points, whereas a lower cut-off will show you larger "hot spots" of similar points). This is a great way to find any tiny hot spots you might otherwise miss.
