Description:

This is a project that was developed by a different team and then worked on by the Legacy team to add more features and improve the code.

ReduceRuseRecycle is a great optimal solution from two different sides:

1- it gives you the oppurtinity to contribute with your suggestion and idea about recycling so all people can use your knowledge in a good way.

2- you have the chance also to sell your extra items instead of throughing them out.

3- all the information in this app will be provided from people to people so don't worry all of them are practical. no theories here.

Added Features:

• Restyling the whole project beacause we think that old style need to be more colorful.
• Added new tab with name "DidYouKnow" that contains info that encourages the user to recycle.
• Added new tab with name "videos" that teach the users different ways of recycling items.
• Fixing some bugs that related to our features we added likes(route of login ,likes count).
• Adding the project name to heroku link.

Requirements:

• Node v6.14.1 Express framwork
• MongoDB
• reactJS

Development:

Development of this app started on April 29, 2018 and the final app was deployed on Heroku on May 3, 2018.

Installing Dependencies & Running App:

Clone the repo or download it.

Run your mongoDB database from your commander

mongod

From inside the repo directory:

npm install
npm run react-dev
in another terminal npm run server-dev
in another terminal npm run react-dev

• Signup and Login, then share your knowledge and ideas about recycling, and discover new ones.
