The solution removes the black bars from the rendered cutscenes and dialogue scenes in the game while perfectly preserving their vertical field of view.

  1. Download the mod archive below.
  2. Unpack the files to \DH2\Binaries\Win64\ inside the game folder.

To uninstall, simply remove or move the files.

Known issue: The FOV reduction in the tennis game for local multiplayer is worsened by this fix at 21:9.

Tested on the latest GOG version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080, 5760x1080 and many similar resolutions.
