The solution removes the vertical black bars without reducing the field of view.

  1. Download the archive below.
  2. Unpack it to \RED\Binaries\Win64 inside the game folder.
  3. In the game, make sure that the window mode is Borderless to have the game use your desktop resolution.

To uninstall the fix, simply remove or move the files.

Known issues:

  • Many UI elements are shifted to the left. This includes the damage boxes in Training.
  • A few UI elements are partially out of view (e.g. the optional virtual gamepad).
  • The health bars and combo popups are stretched.

The solution technically supports 32:9 and wider, but the aforementioned issues would get worse.

Tested personally on the latest Free Edition on Steam at 2560x1080. Tested on the full Steam version by Santic, who also provided one of the screenshots for the thumbnail.
