The solution removes the black bars from the rendered cutscenes in the game. Unlike the prior community solutions, it does not decrease the field of view or cause the pre-rendered videos to be stretched.

  1. Download the mod archive below.
  2. Unpack the files to the game directory.

To uninstall, simply remove or move the files.

Tested on the latest GOG version at 2560x1080, 3440x1440, 5120x1440 and 5760x1080.
