The solution for The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition removes the black bars from the cutscenes and dialogue at any affected resolution. It also corrects the field of view and weapons model at 21:9 and wider. If looking for an ultrawide fix for the original game, see here.

  1. Download the mod archive below.
  2. Unpack the files to \Indiana\Binaries\Win64\ inside the game folder.
  3. Run the game and play in the borderless fullscreen mode.

To uninstall, simply remove or move the files.

Tested on the latest GOG version at 2560x1080, 3840x1080, 5760x1080, and multiple 16:10 resolutions.
