The solution removes the black bars that appear in the game at 48:9 or other resolutions wider than 32:9.

  1. Download the mod archive below.
  2. Unpack the files to the game folder containing the game executable.

To uninstall, simply remove or move the files.

As with the native experience when going wider from 16:9, the mouse pointer and a few other UI elements may become bigger in size. Use the keyboard keys if having a hard time navigating the main menu.

Tested on the latest Microsoft Store version at 5760x1080.
