GitHub release (by tag)

The solution removes the black bars from every scene at 21:9 and wider, maintaining the original vertical field of view. Use at own risk.

  1. Download the crash bypass archive and unpack it to \SMG026\Binaries\Win64\ inside the game folder.
  2. Download the fix archive at the bottom and unpack it.
  3. Always launch the game first, followed by the tool.
  4. Press the key as instructed to toggle the fix on and off in real time.

Known issues:

  • The field of view calculation cannot account for the UI elements, so some of them may take away from the view (e.g. the letterboxing at the main menu).
  • Some freeroam button prompts may be off their original positions.
  • The subtitles stay in their original place closer to the middle.

All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software.

Tested on the latest Steam version primarily at 2560x1080, 3440x1440 and 3840x1080.
