The small solution removes the black bars that appear in the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions.

  1. Run the game and configure its settings to match your preference.
  2. After closing the game, go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\LightInTheDarkness\Saved\Config\Windows\ via the address bar of File Explorer.
  3. Open GameUserSettings.ini in any text editor.
  4. Modify the values of ResolutionSizeX and ResolutionSizeY to match your resolution, then save.
  5. Download the mod archive below.
  6. Unpack it to \LightInTheDarkness\Binaries\Win64\ inside the game folder.
  7. Run the game and avoid touching the incorrectly displayed resolution in the settings.

The main menu image will stay stretched at all times.

Tested on the latest Epic Games Store version primarily at 2560x1080 and 5120x1440.
