Describe the bug 🐞
When simplification needs to introduce new variables to represent the derivative of a model variable, it might not have the correct units.
Expected behavior
Simplification should preserve units.

Sorry, something went wrong.
Disabling unit checking is always fine as a feature, so it's not redundant. But yes, we should fix this too.
