The test failures are unrelated and the same errors occur on the master branch as well, so I will merge this PR. |

I think the ODESystem in that test fails to initialize with the superset initialization PR, and so the solution doesn't have as many elements as expected. |

Alias elimination might introduce empty equations. We need to handle that properly.
