Welcome to the Windows-10-WallpaperSwap wiki!

Unzip the files in bg.zip to a folder named bg.

Replace the example images (with the white square) with scaled versions of the graphic you wish to utilize for your lock screen.

  • I recommend a program like GIMP or Photoshop, that can build images with multiple layers, to perform this.
  • Keep the x/y sizes as I have them. These are common screen/monitor resolutions in Windows 10.

Use group policy preferences, or manually move, this edited folder into the "%windir%\Web\Screen folder.

Utilize the sample policy configuration images to setup your group policy, either in an active directory domain, or locally via group policy on your computer.

Update your group policy with gpupdate.exe /force.

Reboot your machine. The powershell-based startup script will select the version of the lock screen appropriate for your screen-size.
