S05P05 Data Scraping & UI Elements

This project is my solution in Windows Legacy (Deprecated), C# to the Data Scraping & UI Elements practice found in section 05 practice 05 of the UiPath - RPA Developer Foundation course.

Getting Started

After making a pull request or downloading the project, open the Main.xaml in UiPath Studio. The robot can be run with the play button in the ribbon and the result can be seen in output panel.

Practice Requirements

Extracting data from ACME

Create a process that automates extracting the data from ACME Work items page.

1. Open https://acme-test.uipath.com/login using IE and login (note: if you do not have an account, go to https://acme-test.uipath.com/register first and create one).
   • Click on the Work Items tab.
   • Use Data scrape wizard to extract the table from all the pages. Ignore the empty columns.
   • Save the extracted data into a CSV file.
2. Close browser.

Architecture Requirements

A standard UiPath, Studio to Orchestrator cloud setup is the base of operation. It is easy to setup and free.

1. An Orchestrator connection - Visit https://cloud.uipath.com/ and authenticate or sign up.
2. UiPath Studio is used to run the robot. Note that Studio Web can be used directly in Orchestrator but I recommend installing the Studio IDE application.
