GitHub-Copilot-Hackathon

The GitHub Copilot hackathon is a project created by CHAOSS Africa to demonstrate how GitHub CoPilot enhances and improves productivity.

The team will create a web project using CoPilot to generate code suggestions in real time.

Main Objectives

  • To demonstrate how GitHub CoPilot enhances productivity and reduces time it takes to deliver projects.
  • To develop a story on how GitHub CoPilot makes a positive impact for social good.
  • To train developers on how to use GitHub CoPilot in their Open Source communities.

Project Requirements

  • Contributors are required to use CoPilot in this project. Ensure to apply the code suggestions generated by CoPilot.
  • Contributors will also fill out a questionnaire once they complete their issues to give a report of their experience while working with CoPilot.
  • We will also record videos on your experience in using CoPilot for the project.

Project Timeline

The development phase will start on 10th July and end on 27th July 2023.
