We've added some quick documentation about how this additional feature is going to work in this PR, but here's the full roadmap.
Contracts added -> Mineral (ERC20/rewards), Planet (ERC1155/editionDrop), PlanetHelper (custom/mining.helper)
Frontend components -> Hardhat-backed index component for the nft interaction part of the web app
Currently the new frontend components are not merged in with the main client.
