e2e container

This repository holds the build scripts of SkyWalking e2e docker container .

Ports

The container exposes port 8080 11800 and 12800 to make the Web App and OAP accessible outside, as well as some port (9090 9091 9092 9093 and 9094) that can be used by instrumented services, if your instrumented services need to be accessible out of the container, make sure to use those ports.

Here are some environment variables that can be customized to control the behaviours of the container.

Environment Variables

• SW_HOME

The home directory of SkyWalking that you can mount the host directory to, under which the directory structures should be the same as what the distribution package look like, meaning ls $SW_HOME should produce something like:

• SERVICE_HOME and INSTRUMENTED_SERVICE

SERVICE_HOME is the home directory of the instrumented services, and INSTRUMENTED_SERVICE is the instrumented service jar file name, you may typically want to mount the directory where your jar locates and set it as SERVICE_HOME, and set INSTRUMENTED_SERVICE to your jar file name.

Starting multiple service jars are also supported, just put all the jars into SERVICE_HOME and set INSTRUMENTED_SERVICE_1, INSTRUMENTED_SERVICE_2 INSTRUMENTED_SERVICE_n to your jar file names that you want to start.

• AGENT_HOME

AGENT_HOME is the home directory of the SkyWalking agent, it's the same hierarchy of the agent directory in the distribution package.
