SoMLabs BSP is based on FSL Community BSP. See also: https://github.com/Freescale/fsl-community-bsp-platform http://freescale.github.io/
To get the BSP you need to have repo
installed and use it as:
Install the repo
utility:
$: mkdir ~/bin
$: curl http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/bin/repo
$: chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
Download the BSP source:
$: PATH=${PATH}:~/bin
$: mkdir somlabs-bsp
$: cd somlabs-bsp
$: repo init -u https://github.com/SoMLabs/somlabs-bsp -b rocko
$: repo sync
At the end of the commands you have every metadata you need to start work with.
To start a simple image build:
$: MACHINE=visionsom6ull DISTRO=somlabs-linux EULA=1 source setup-environment build
Add meta-layers:
$: bitbake-layers add-layer ../sources/meta-somlabs
$: bitbake-layers add-layer ../sources/meta-openembedded/meta-python
$: bitbake-layers add-layer ../sources/meta-openembedded/meta-networking
(You can also edit conf/bblayers.conf
by hand.)
Buid image:
$: bitbake lab-image
