Timer does not function when screen is locked

Hi and thanks for your work, your app is the only workout timer I found that works on my LineageOS!

Just wanted to report that, once I started a workout set with intervals longer than 10 s, if I lock the screen, then the interval seems to never finish. When I turn the screen on — even without unlocking the phone — the timer seems to resume counting from 5 s before the interval end. Battery optimization issue?

This is a bit annoying to use the timer in audio mode while running for instance.

And also would u try to whitelist the app in battery settings and remove battery optimizations only for this app and report back.As other android devices allow the app to run with voice without issues
