- Now all calls to DBMS_ Packages are detected. Before there were only 2 specific DBMS Packages, but there are many more
- Calls to utl_inaddr are now detected. This one is for DNS based attacks: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14258/u_inaddr.htm
- Calls to SYS_CONTEXT are now detected. This is a function for determing some database/session variables: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/functions165.htm
Oracle DBMS_ Packages. The new rule captures all DBMS_ calls instead of only the 2 ones.

Thanks for the Pull Request, however the base_rules/modsecurity_41_sql_injection_attacks.data file has been deprecated. This was previously used as part of pre-qualification to quickly find plain text strings using @pmFromFile. These are good additions to the sqli rules but they will have to be added to the regexes and not the .data files. I will look into this. |
