New settings is always a thing on Lucore OS.
We have added themes (beta), fixed username errors, and more!

Security is Lucore's priority. We always value you're privacy, with brand new SALT encryption, server-storing, and more.
So, don't worry about getting hacked, or something like that, they won't ever happen on Lucore. 🔐

CoreLight Framework 1.43.05 🖥️

We improved the framework by adding many features including:

Panels for frames, more compatibility with console-based applications, and much, much more.
Extension pack downloading has been implemented aswell! You can now download pre-built extension packs for free!

Yes, it's here. The ultimate, sleek, modern, most powerful operating system ever programmed in plain Java.
We have made it even better, with new games, a brand new Pacman, and much more.

Yes. Lucore is always improving security along with many more stuff.
We value you're privacy. We have encrypted data, stored on servers, and we ensure that you're data stays safe.

What's changed?
Nothing has changed too much, you will still be in you're comfort zone as always.
We just added better features, a more modern & sleek design, and more apps.

Bug fixes

Points show as a long number
We fixed this, as it was very annoying.

Users don't get used correctly
We fixed this, by adding a new Kernel feature.

Misspells
We fixed these, by adding a spell check AI.

Brand new settings

Memory allocation
We implemented memory allocation, so that the user can allocate more memory to Lucore OS.
This can be found in the More Lucore application.

Show seconds on taskbar time
We implemented a feature to show the seconds on the taskbar time label.
This can be found in the personalization settings, and is highly useful.

Many more
We can't name all the settings that we added, as it is a long list.
But, there are many more settings to customize.

New input mappings

Calc1
We changed the input mapping for entering Calc1 from the desktop.
It is now the 'end' key.

Start menu
We made it so that you can press the Windows key on you're keyboard to open the start menu from the desktop.
In previous versions, it would open Calc1 aswell. But now, it doesn't anymore.

Many more features

Lucore has many more features for you to explore!
From saving files and creating desktops, to programming you're own app, extensions, and more.
Go and explore the vast wonderful operating system, the most modern one ever programmed in Java.

Oh yeah!

We implemented seasonal theme changing based on the current season, so you can fit in with the seasons.

Also, you may see that we didn't provide a download link to Lucore OS. That's because we are making it safer, more modern, sleek, and wonderful for you. So, we use github downloads from now on. Enjoy!

Download Lucore.OS.7.0.zip, extract it, open it, take the 'Lucore OS 7.0' file out and place it in Downloads, open it, right-click on the 'Lucore OS 4.0' shortcut, click Properties, see the 'Start In' field, change the username from User to you're Windows username, click Apply, then finish, and finally, double-click the Lucore OS 4.0 shortcut to start Lucore.

Lucore 6.0! It's released!

We're going to make this short, but it is a big advancement.

• Lucore 6.0 comes with all new, robust security features that make you're life easier.
• With the all new Desktop Manager, you can run different virtual desktops on one PC.
• Everything is much. much more modern! Everything has been revamped so that anyone can use it.
• We fixed spelling errors, and we made the UI (user interface) much, much more accessible, with all new large fonts.

This is the bold era!

• All new fonts have been revamped, aswell as out look and feel to make it more modern!
• Lucore OS 6.0 is a huge advancement and will revolutionize PC's.

We know this took quite the while, but it is worth it. We are taking just a bit of a break, we will be back soon. Don't worry, it's only up to a 2 month break, we'll be back, and you will still have many stuff to finish doing with Lucore OS 6.0.

What's new

We value you're privacy:

• As always, we value you, and you're privacy. So, we added a brand new security system. You now (this is required for extra security) need to provide you're password on launch of Lucore Accounts.
• We improved the lock screen, adding new features to enhance you're security, and user experience. We fixed the admin login's cancel issue, which closes the frame.

Improved layout, look, and, feel.

• We improved the layout, aswell as the look and feel, to make you feel more at home. We improved settings, the start menu, the action center, full time, the widgets menu, and many more.
• The look and feel has been upgraded from FlatLightLaf, to FlatLucoreLaf. (our custom look and feel, thanks to FlatLaf)

Apps galore.

• With many more apps, Lucore is now your's. We added the brand new extension pack creator, SearchX email hub (still in beta, doesn't work as intended yet), and many more.
