This is a custom iTerm2 theme designed to faithfully replicate the prompt colours of Kali Linux.

Download the theme file:
Save the XML content provided in this repository to a file, for example
Kali-Linux.itermcolors
. -
Import the theme into iTerm2:
- Open iTerm2.
- Go to
iTerm2
>Preferences
(or pressCmd + ,
). - Navigate to the
Profiles
tab. - Select the profile you want to apply the theme to (or create a new one).
- Go to the
Colors
tab. - Click on
Color Presets...
at the bottom right. - Choose
Import...
from the dropdown menu. - Select the
KaliLinux.itermcolors
file you saved earlier. - Once imported, choose
KaliLinux
from theColor Presets...
dropdown to apply the theme.
- Accurate replication of Kali Linux prompt colours.
- Compatibility with both light and dark modes.
- Customised ANSI colours for a consistent appearance.
The theme includes customised colours for:
- Background and foreground
- Cursor
- Selection
- Links
- Bold text
- ANSI colours

This theme was created to emulate the visual style of Kali Linux in iTerm2. All credit for the original colour scheme goes to the Kali Linux team.
