  • Fixed a bug that caused an error when using the ‘Patch Installer Requirements’ feature.

• ✨  New Features

  • Added a feature to download the Legacy BIOS bootloader grub4dos from the internet if needed.
  • Added a failsafe mode that tries to fix the app by relaunching it as root in case of any errors.
  • Added a feature to automatically delete temporary files after the process is completed.
  • Added support for multiple languages.

  • 🔧  Debug Menu

    • Added an option to 'Scan All Whole Disks' and show all the devices that can be used as targets.
    • Added an option to 'Reset All Settings' and restore the app to its default state. This will also delete any temporary files.

• Added support for patching Windows 11 hardware requirements (TPM and Secure Boot).
• Added support for interrupting the writing process without having to wait for the current file to finish copying.
• Implemented live progress tracking with dual progress bars.
• Enhanced the verification process to prevent data loss on erase stage by ensuring the BSD device is not swapped with another device.

WinDiskWriter 1.0

I am happy to announce the first release of WinDiskWriter, an application for macOS that allows you to write flash drives with Microsoft Windows using a macOS-based computer.
This release is the result of several months of hard work and testing, and I hope you will find it useful and reliable.
