I have achieved a mark for this project and the course is now complete - this means like all other projects which no longer have a deadline, I am no longer actively working on BattleCell. This isn't to say that I won't come back for a few more bits later in the future (or even later this year), but for now I'm working on other projects, particularly JUMG. But feel free to read on!
BattleCell is a small project which I'm building for my Uni Course called Computer Games.
The game falls into the Strategy/AutoChess category, where the player can pick their character and their defensive traits and let them loose on the opposing players. No teams. No truces. Just an all out brawl!
This game is built using JUMG, a side project that will help me build more games in the future, because doing that is fun!
To play the game, you'll need to have at least Java 8 installed. From there, download the jar file from the releases page
git clone
this repo and open it up in VSCode or Eclipse!
