I added this in our own instance two years or so back as well because of internal "needs", but the point still stands: every company has their own definition of severity levels where it has to align with other departments and services, which is why I didn't make a pull request for it.

Some have information -> critical (5), while others have low -> high (3), etc. Great work on your end, but I personally think it's wrong to just add another level rather than have the "custom" way be possible.
