Problems with creating a new Golem project. #852
-
Dear Golem community, Starting on the golem. I started by installing the golem from CRAN and started a new project (file>new project>golem), I was told that I needed to update R to version 4.05 or greater. I updated to the latest version 4.1.3 . I installed from CRAN again and started a project, and the following error appeared: R Code execution error (see photo). I installed golem from github and the error persists. The R feddback: -- Checking package name --------------------------------------------------
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the possible error is?
R version 4.1.3 (2022-03-10) Matrix products: default locale: attached base packages: other attached packages: loaded via a namespace (and not attached): I will test it on my Linux Ubuntu 20.04 operating system. Hope to have more success. |

Hey,
You can have a look to the message in your console to have more information about the requirements for package name, or you can also uncheck "perform a check on the name". Cheers, |

Maybe I know what the problem was. The new project name Golem cannot have underlined keywords in its title. |

Hey,
Golem_test
is not a valid package name, that's why you get this error ;)You can have a look to the message in your console to have more information about the requirements for package name, or you can also uncheck "perform a check on the name".
Cheers,
