TimVer started out to be a replacement for Winver. I grew frustrated that I couldn't copy text from Winver to the clipboard and that I needed to use multiple apps to get some basic information about Windows, so I built one that did what I needed. Over time additional information has been added to TimVer and it has become multilingual.
TimVer displays basic information about Windows and the hardware it's running on. To reduce startup time, most information is gathered only when it is needed. TimVer is not meant to replace other system information like Speccy, HWiNFO, Sysinternals, or msinfo32. It doesn't display the depth of information that those utilities do.
If you just need to know basic info like the Windows build number, how much memory is installed or the size of a disk drive, then TimVer can do that for you! Need to copy the Windows build number? Simply right-click on it! In fact, right-clicking on almost any of the information displayed will copy it to the clipboard!
