Reconstruction:

  • Start emacs with emacs -Q
  • Run M-x package-initialize
  • Run M-x texfrag-global-mode
  • Switch texfrag-preview-buffer-at-start on
  • Open README_TEST.org

Effect:
yes-or-no-p with "Process Preview-LaTeX for 'README_TEST.org' already running. Kill it?`

texfrag-region should never run for texfrag-LaTeX-buffer or texfrag-tex-buffer.

Issue #9: TeXfrag leaves LaTeX buffers and output buffers open.
Issue #10: Query whether LaTeX should be killed at opening text with `texfrag-global-mode` and `texfrag-preview-buffer-at-start` turned on.
Issue #11: LaTeX does not accept the UTF8 Byte Order Mark.
