Welcome to the HighwayData wiki!
This repository contains the TravelMapping project's highway data.

- The hwy_data directory and its subdirectories contain the current highway data.
Some data in this repository is here for historical purposes, and is not used by the project in its current form.
- The chm_final directory and its subdirectories contain the last "data" folder from the original CHM project.

The systems.csv file lists the highway systems that are part of the project. There are active, preview and in-development systems as indicated by the last field "Level". Anything not listed here will not be processed during site updates.

The updates.csv and systemupdates.csv files list the highway data updates that end-users need to be aware of. This information is stored in the database and is available through a (to-be-improved) web interface.

The datacheckfps.csv file has the list of false positive datacheck errors that can safely be ignored because they are known not to be problematic. Every datacheck error in active systems should have an entry in this file (or be fixed if it is not a false positive, of course), and any in-development system should address all datacheck errors by fixing the error or adding an entry to this file before activation.
