Cypher

A QR Scanning Application written in Kotlin

Usage

  • Tap anywhere to toggle flash.
  • Double tap anywhere to select and scan a local image file.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/TriStaRvOiD/Cypher.git
  2. Open the project in Android Studio.
  3. Build the project:
    • Click on the “Build” menu.
    • Select “Build Project” or press Ctrl + F9 (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + F9 (Mac).
  4. Connect a physical device or use an emulator:
    • Make sure your device is connected via USB and has Developer Mode enabled.
    • Alternatively, use an Android emulator from Android Studio.
  5. Run the app:
    • Click on the “Run” menu.
    • Select “Run app” or press Shift + F10 (Windows/Linux) or Ctrl + R (Mac).
  6. The app should now be running on your device or emulator.

Unfortunately this app currently only supports English, however this will most likely change in the future.

This application's code is available under a GPL v3 license. This excludes the icons, fonts, logos and assets used.
