Why build from (almost) scratch

Pros:

• More fun
• More interesting
• Because I can
• Learning how things work
• ???

Cons:

• Maintaining "good" code is hard (alot of refactoring is in order)
• Slower to implement new things
• "Security"

Overall: Probably a bad idea but I'm doing it anyways
