Prevent Repeats?

Is there any way possible to do 1 random video per source activation, and prevent repeated videos until all videos have played?

I have the 1 random video per activation set up, but it will often repeat the same video within 1 or 2 instances from itself.

That's exactly how this works. Videos are shuffled each time the source is loaded and then played in that order.
Think of a deck of cards, each time you reload the source the deck is shuffled, and then all cards are ran through from thr top of the deck. Are you sure you only have 1 of each video in the folder when using the generator program?

So there is no way to play one random video, stop, then the next at another time and maintain no-repeats? Not sure if you know another way to achieve this without turning the source visibility off.

It might be possible by storing the state across loads but I'd have to think about some of the drawbacks of this.
Generally and personally speaking I dont want the videos to play in the same order every time. But just thinking out load, maybe i can limit re-shuffling till after the list has been played though.

You shouldn't be seeing any video played twice directly after itself

This would be amazing if you did see a good case to add. I know few other streamers whom would also be very grateful for this feature.

oooooooooooooh. I think it works! I went through the entire folder before it repeated once! No bugs as of yet. I am streaming tomorrow, so I'll turn the cooldown to a minute and ask the chat to abuse it and see if any bugs show their face. Thank you so much!

Upgraded to this one and it has helped prevent repeats on my side as well. I'll keep testing it out.
