[BETA] Half Life Goldsource m_rawinput = 0 - Mouse movement Issues #778
Comments
"Another player on Windows can do 360 degrees (1440x900 windowed)" This is me. If I try to rotate around in a circle with m_rawinput = 0, I stop rotating at about 360 degrees and can't turn in whatever direction I was rotating in any further. Same issue for me. @Maxkorz : |

That's annoying, I had searched for m_rawinput and hadn't spotted that log. |
@cscarlet closing is enough. Alfted tried to fix my issue and the latest try caused this bug. Just wait for him :) |
fixed in the latest beta ( |
I compiled half-life from sources and put client.so and hl.so to my mod (I changed makefiles, especially removed calls to p4 utility - what is it anyway?). Still same issue. But it works fine in original Half-Life. |
Seems like it's problem with client.so. I deleted it (so mod now uses original client) and bug disappeared. |
Currently in an IRC channel and three of us are having issues with the Half Life - Beta
With m_rawinput set to 0 I can only look around 90 degrees before it will go no further (Top down left and right, resolution is 1680 x 1050 Full screen but I have a second monitor attached unused by the game)
Another player on Linux beta can rotate 180 degrees before it will go no further (1280 x 720 windowed)
Another player on Windows can do 360 degrees (1440x900 windowed).
Its weird and when reverting to normal HL it works fine :(
