Speak UP Desk is an internet based Project developed using PHP and MySQL. The aim of Online Crime Reporting System will be to create a web based program using which people are able to report crime online. It gives the facility of registering any crime cases to ensure that authorities can take action immediately.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE :
The Objective of Speak UP Desk is to develop a web based program using which people can report crime online. It provides the facility of uploading images or videos of crime scenes to ensure that police may take action immediately. It also supplies the advice of missing persons, most wanted criminals and security tips for the awarness of people.
Presently there is no online web application available to report crime online. In order to report any complains associated with crime, people has to contact closest police station. People of the specific city are not aware of crime related matters such as list of Most wanted criminals of their town, newest crime related news, missing persons of the area etc..People must view News Chanels or Read News Paper for such offense related details. Thus we can say that present platform is manual and does not supply all the information from 1 source.

##How To Run The Project?
To run this project, you must have installed a virtual server i.e XAMPP on your PC (for Windows). This Crime Reporting System is in PHP.
Open XAMPP Control Panel and Start Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps.
1st step: Download zip file from the github.
2nd Step: Extract file.
3rd Step: Copy the main project folder
4th Step: Paste in xampp/htdocs/
5th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
6th Step: Then, click on the databases tab
7th Step: Create a database naming “station” and then click on the import tab
8th Step: Click on browse file and select “station.sql” file which is inside the “Speak_UP_Desk-main” folder
9th Step: Click on go.
After Creating Database,
10th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/Speak_UP_Desk-main/”
11th step: visit all page. Admin and user's password and email is given below.
(All buttons are working and on registering any thing creates data in database
**admin email is "admin@admin.com" and password is "admin1234"
**user email is "fab@gmail.com" and password is "1234"
