Charts Integration
Charts in the CJ4 are powered by Navigraph - special thanks to the team at Navigraph for their support with API integration. In order to use the charts in the CJ4, you need to have a subscription that includes charts - https://navigraph.com/products/subscriptions. If you have a subscription, all you need to do is select the NAVIGRAPH line in MOD SETTINGS in the FMC and that will launch your web browser and ask you to log in to your Navigraph account - from there an access token will be issued. These tokens do time out from time-to-time, so if you're prompted by the aircraft, or if you ever encounter difficulties loading charts, please go back to this option and resync your account. Details on using the Charts capabilities are in the user guide.
Here's a video demoing the Charts functionality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZNqV-aCzGk
User Guide
The User Guide has been updated: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qzxPMTSQRkvau8QOi7xUqNvjx9rbww_qHlso5AT5OnI/
Changes
PFD
- PFD Baro preset function added. (After STD is pressed on Baro knob,, a preset value can be selected and swapped with STD press again once passed transition altitude)
MFD
- Added support for Navigraph Charts (can be selected with CHARTS button on lower control panel).
- Added VNAV window to FMS text (can be displayed by selecting VNAV WINDOW in the FMC DSPL MENU).
- Added Advisory Descent (DES instead of TOD) when no arrival or approach is loaded; this will provide an advisory (uncoupled) "DES" point to start descent to reach 1500' AFE 10nm from airport.
FMC
- Added TUNE page functionality - ATC Control page, dispatch function, format changes,
- Added VNAV WINDOW option to DSPL MENU.
- Datalink: Added ATIS support for IVAO.
- Datalink: Changed default METAR source to VATSIM.
- Datalink: Added support for facilities with separate departure and arrival ATIS.
VNAV
- Fixed bug where in certain circumstances below constraints were not observed in the first segment of the vertical flight plan.
- Adjusted glideslope capture to be more sensitive and only capture with less than half scale deflection.
- Adjusted visibility of below constraints on departure to allow them to appear on the PFD and in the VNAV MFD window at a greater distance from present position.
FLIGHT MODEL
- Flight model adjusted and enhanced based on sim update 3 aerodynamic changes.
MODEL
- Added support for livery painters that adjust the panel.cfg file; see the REPAINT_README.MD file included in the CJ4 Docs Folder (REPAINT_README.md).
⚠️ Known Issues
- PTCH mode will not level off at an altitude and it can have some quirky behaviors. This is currently a sim AP issue.
- Some external applications that use the GPS/Flight plan SimVars may not function correctly or as expected when FP Sync is off.
- Loading and saving flights can have bad results.
- Custom liveries can render FADEC inoperative if they ship with a panel.cfg. Painters should reference the new REPAINT_README.md file included in the docs folder of the Github repository.
- Autopilot modes cannot be triggered via key bindings or controllers and must currently be triggered in the cockpit with the mouse. External binding applications are adding support for LVars and HEvents. Used SimVars are documented here
- Sometimes a heading to altitude instruction on takeoff will display further than the first RNAV fix on an RNAV departure procedure; in these cases the workaround is to cross-check the DP chart and remove the erroneous waypoint either by deleting the heading to altitude fix or dropping the first RNAV fix onto the magenta line in the LEGS page.
- Due to sim autopilot bank rate limitations, the aircraft may overshoot on certain RNP approaches with tight turns. If you encounter this, we recommend hand flying the approach with the given lateral and vertical guidance.
- The Standby Attitude Indicator switch is reversed in the model, so down (off) turns the SAI on and vice-versa; this will be addressed in a future update.
gx-v0.1.0-dev6
Changes in 0.1.0-dev6
- rebase onto new G3X code
- apply improved styling
- port over CAS and autopilot functionality

g3000-v0.4.1
Working Title G3000
Latest version: v0.4.1
Description
This is a mod for MSFS2020 that aims to improve the in-game G3000 and G5000. The goal is to bring functionality closer to the real-life units, with a focus on both features and layout/UI.
This mod was created with cross-compatibility in mind. It modifies the minimum number of base files possible to achieve its goals, so it should be compatible with most other mods, including all other WorkingTitle mods. However, because of the nature of the mod, it will conflict with other mods that make changes to the G3000.
Installation
Download workingtitle-g3000-v0.4.1.zip
from the Github release page. Do not download the Source code files unless you are sure you want those.
To install, copy the workingtitle-g3000
folder from the zip file into your Community
directory.
If you want to enable the road display for the navigation map, you must also download workingtitle-g3000-roaddata-v0.1.0.zip
from the Github release page. To install the road data package, copy the workingtitle-g3000-roaddata
folder from the zip file into your Community
directory. Requires 1.3 GB of hard drive space.
Configuration File
Certain mod settings can be customized via a configuration file which is located at workingtitle-g3000\html_ui\WTg3000.cfg
. Documentation for the various settings can be found in the file itself. If you make changes to the file while the game is running, you must restart the game for the changes to take effect.
Release Highlights for v0.4.1
- Added mod configuration file.
- Added road display for the navigation map (requires the optional
workingtitle-g3000-roaddata
package).
Fixes
- [General] Fixed performance degradation over time.
Known Issues
- [Stability] The game will CTD when clearing origin and destination from the flight plan and attempting to enter a new origin/destination.
- [Compatibility] Using this mod with the WorkingTitle GX mod may result in various flight planning bugs, such as blank waypoint entries in the GTC active flight plan page and avionics freeze when initiating a Direct To to an approach waypoint.
- [PFD] (Vanilla issue) Co-pilot PFD softkeys are nonfunctional in the TBM 930.
- [NavMap] Airspaces are currently not available to display. The way the game loads data for these features is unreliable at best, and more time is needed to come up with a satisfactory solution to rendering them. Expect them to be added back at a later date.
- [NavMap] The flight plan renderer currently does not draw turn anticipation arcs or turn to intercept legs. These will be added later.
- [NavMap] All airport waypoints are shown as if they are serviced, regardless of whether they actually are. This is because waypoint data from the game is currently missing this information.
- [NavMap] Airport waypoint symbols will only show around a certain geographic distance from the center of the map (this does not apply to airports that are part of the active flight plan). This is due to the way the game searches for airports (the number of results is limited for performance reasons and there is no option to filter the search e.g. by size to reduce the performance penalty).
- [Weather Radar] When NEXRAD is enabled for the navigation map in the right MFD pane, the weather radar display in the left MFD pane will have artifacts. This does not occur with the opposite arrangement (i.e. NEXRAD enabled in left MFD pane, weather radar in right MFD pane). The bug also occurs when enabling NEXRAD for the PFD inset map. A workaround for now is to simply disable NEXRAD or to enable it in the left pane instead of the right (and disable it for the PFD inset map) if you wish to use it in conjunction with the weather radar.
FAQ
- Q: I copied the mod folder to my Community folder but don't get any of the new features. What do I do?
- A: Make sure you downloaded the correct mod folder. It should be named
workingtitle-g3000
and be contained in a .zip file namedworkingtitle-g3000-v[version number]
.
- A: Make sure you downloaded the correct mod folder. It should be named
- Q: Why do I no longer have synthetic vision on the PFD after installing the mod?
- A: The mod introduces the option to toggle synthetic vision on/off and the setting defaults to off. To turn it back on, use the touchscreen controllers and navigate to PFD Home -> PFD Settings -> SVT Terrain Enable. Alternatively, for the TBM 930 only, use the PFD softkeys to navigate to PFD Settings -> Altitude Overlays -> Synthetic Terrain.
- Q: When I copy the mod folder to my Community folder, why do I get an error saying the file path name is too long?
- A: This is a Windows issue. By default, Windows limits file paths to 260 characters. You can disable this limit by modifying the system registry (not as scary as it sounds). Tutorials for how to do so can easily be found with a Google (or Bing) search.
- Q: Why do I sometimes get low performance/FPS with the mod?
- A: The single largest performance sink (when it comes to avionics) is the navigational map. The mod actually uses a completely new code base for the navmap that is more performant than the default. However, the mod also allows many more features to be drawn on the map than is possible with the unmodded map (as well as allowing for two independent navmaps to be displayed on the MFD), which is where performance can start to suffer. Generally, the more waypoints and text labels drawn on the map, the greater the impact on performance.
- Q: Does the mod support VNAV or inputting airways into the flight plan?
- A: Not yet. Support will be coming with a future update.

IMPORTANT: Warning On Kinetic Assistant and Gliders
We have numerous reports of installing Kinetic Assistant and/or gliders permanently breaking throttle events processed via WASM and SimConnect, which persists even on uninstalling these items. It was tracked down to be a problem of a underlying library "FsConnect" creating a SimConnect.cfg in "MyDocuments".
Possible fix provided by community member Merlin: Delete the file SimConnect.cfg
in "MyDocuments" of your pc.

- [NavMap] Map symbols (cities, waypoints, etc) are now better aligned with the terrain texture at high latitudes and when zoomed out.
- [NavMap] Flight plan paths that cross the antimeridian (180° E/W) are now drawn correctly.
- [NavMap] Waypoint labels no longer sometimes blink or flash on/off rapidly.
- [Weather Radar] In Vertical Scan mode, the vertical scale is now correctly labeled.
- [GTC] The PFD inset map can now be toggled on/off within the PFD Map Settings page.
- [GTC] The lower knob (G3000) or right knob (G5000) now controls PFD inset map range when the touchscreen controller has the PFD home page or any of its subpages open.
- [GTC] For the G5000, turning the right knob no longer changes map or weather radar range when a frequency select or audio/radio page is open.
- [GTC] In the Timers page, the "Start" button now correctly changes to a "Stop" button when the timer is active.
Known Issues
- [Stability] The game will CTD when clearing origin and destination from the flight plan and attempting to enter a new origin/destination.
- [Compatibility] Using this mod with Navigraph may result in various bugs with flight planning, including blank legs in the GTC active flight plan page, unexpected behavior when selecting duplicate waypoints, and freezes/CTDs when making changes to the active flight plan.
- [PFD] (Vanilla issue) Co-pilot PFD softkeys are nonfunctional in the TBM 930.
- [NavMap] Roads and airspaces are currently not available to display.
It should be named
workingtitle-g3000
and be contained in a .zip file namedworkingtitle-g3000-v[version number]
.

Support will be coming with a future update.

cj4-v0.9.1
Working Title CJ4 v0.9.1 Changes
Welcome to the Working Title CJ4 v0.9.1. This is a hotfix release for 0.9.0 to fix the most pressing issues that came up after release.
Installation
Installation is easy, simply copy the workingtitle-aircraft-cj4
folder inside the zip file to your MSFS Community folder.
Important: We recommend that you fully delete the previous workingtitle-aircraft-cj4
folder before copying this release.
Default Livery Conflicts
The alternate default liveries that now ship with MSFS are not compatible with the CJ4 yet at this time. They currently ship with panel.cfg files that do not include our FADEC module. Please use the standard livery or a known compatible 3rd party or community livery.
Bugfixes
- Fixed issue where ATC window did not refresh electrical system status properly
- Fixed issue where map lines would be improperly drawn in certain situations and zoom factors
- Fixed issue where after flying one hold, LNAV would not fly any additional holds
- Fixed issue where LNAV would skip to the last hold if holds were on back-to-back legs
- Fixed speed tape overspeed indicator and warning speeds
- LNAV should no longer wander back and forth in the case of overlapping or duplicate flight plan fixes
- Fix for DIRECT TO not reactivating the current dirto from the DTO page
- Fix for DIRECT TO not working after one successful DTO
⚠️ Known Issues
- Some external applications that use the GPS/Flight plan SimVars may not function correctly or as expected when FP Sync is off.
- Loading and saving flights can have bad results.
- Custom liveries can render FADEC inoperative if they ship with a panel.cfg. You must uninstall them or remove their panel.cfg from the livery folder. This is a limitation of the Asobo livery system.
- On FPLN you cant enter airways properly when arrival/approach procedures are already selected (to be fixed soon).
- Autopilot modes cannot be triggered via keybindings or controllers and must currently be triggered in the cockpit with the mouse.
If you encounter this, we recommend handflying the approach with the given lateral and vertical guidance.
- Sometimes when turning more than 90 degrees onto an approach segment, VNAV might give a NOPATH condition because it sees that you are too high. Engage FLC or VS and descend down and it should recapture the path.
- If for whatever reason, you find that VNAV is not behaving as expected, try and turn it off and on again.
