Dear developers,
When applying VISION to our analysis, we found out that it wouldn't take in metaData factors(say Seurat clusters numbers) over 50, as written in Line 900 of VISION/R/AnalysisFunctions.R. However, it's not very uncommon to have such many factors, especially when exploring large data sets containing miscellaneous cell types(e.g. >100 neuron types). The algorithm would work perfectly even beyond the restriction of 50 factors. We report this issue to you therefore. We have solved the problem by deleting that sentence and recompiling the package locally.
Thank you!
Max
