Dexcloud service mesh sidecar is a transparent proxy which handles the communication between microservices. The inter-communication between microservices can become very complex because there are multiple instances for a service to provide high-availability and scalability. Normally, these instances are randomly scattered on different hosts, which adds more difficulty to locate the service. The reliability of RPC is also another issue need to be considered. Mesh sidecar handles all these communication details for microservies transparently. So the microservice can focus its own business logic.
