controller button mapping

My request is simple I'd like to be able to remap my controller buttons.

I have but the new fork doesn't have an issues tab so I can't report the same problem there. The new fork still doesn't have controller mapping unfortunately for me the latest version apk for both tfe and tse just crash on my device the gpd xd plus (i had to downgrade to 1.5 for it to boot at all) Plus the placement of some of the button mapping has always been so strange Dpad for switching weapons? meaning you can't switch weapons at all while moving. L2 for alt fire instead of R2? who typically maps alt fire to the same side of a controller as the fire button? Finally the use key for switches is straight up not mapped to anything I had to use the touch button to press it when x is a totally open button that's not used for anything. Again I'd have no reason to complain if I could actually remap the buttons. But as far as I can see I can't.

Reading into what little documentation there is there's something apparently called mapping mode in the new ports that from 1.05 onwards allows for moving the touch button or remapping the controller buttons but i cannot find a menu in the game that allows me to do such a thing
