Request password change as pi, execute maintainance script in rc.local to not require password.
change git upstream error, change sed syntax error, remove entering root
Change relative to absolute dir, have to change storage env variable to a dedicated file, remove loging back to regular user

the role of .bashrc is taken up by rc.local for root required startup task or taken up by .xinitrc for non-required root task, so it was not longer needed
env variable will be fed to the scale through commandline launching of the scale process while xinit will receive the mode env variable through its script being edited
