Also the existing mhi-ac-ctrl doesn't respond when the ac has been shutdown and in self clean state/finished self clean state.

Thanks for providing your logs. I have also the impression that the commands are not visible on the SPI. That matches my previous experiences. If you have a look on the user manual of commercial remote controls (e.g. RC-E5) you will see that only a small subset of commands which can be triggered by the IR-RC are supported by the SPI based RC.

According to SPI.md the DB0 values have the following meaning:
on:49 = Vanes swing, COOL, Power on
off:49 = Vanes swing, COOL, Power off
self clean:4d = Vanes swing, FAN, Power on
I can't see something specific to self clean. According to the issue "SELF CLEAN operation" to prevent mold #67 the fan works for about 2h. You could check if the fan off command after 2h is triggered by the IR-RC to find out if self clean is a function of the AC or a (macro) function of the IR-RC.
This could be similar to the timer functions of the IR-RC. As far as I know this is completely controlled by the IR-RC, not by the AC itself (when you carry the IR-RC in another room without visual connection to the AC I assume a programmed timer doesn't work.) - best guess, I never tested it.

Even if the remote Is in aother room, ac turns off. Also the power led keeps blinking in self clean, which means it's a macro in the ac and not on the remote.. Similarly turbo mode turns on the turbo led on ac. 3d auto turns on 3d auto led on ac
