The terminal will pop up "Do you wish to set up Tera renderer automatically？". When you choose yes, the following process seems to never end, and when you run the test code, it will still pop up "Tera template render executable not found, while looking in path:
"Acados/bin/t'render", why?

Unfortunately I can not reproduce this. If anyone can look into what part of the python automatic download does not work, please post here.

Maybe the issue is network / China specific? If more people have the issue please write from which country you try to access it.
